Un tournoi de parties rapides a eu lieu à TVER (RUSSIE, VOLGA) pour rendre hommage à l'entraîneur A. NOVIKOV récemment décédé.
M. AMRILLAEV a devancé A. GEORGIEV avec le même nombre de points.
D. TKACHENKO termine à la 4ème place.
