Voilà ce que j'ai retenu et compris du communique de la FMJD en anglais.
Je propose juste un résumé.

Le comité de direction de la FMJD a décidé d'octroyer une place de qualification supplémentaire pour les Pays-Bas.
Le prochain championnat des Pays-Bas sera qualificatif pour le championnat du Monde.
Cette décision a été prise suite aux nombreux efforts déployés par les Pays-Bas pour organiser des compétitions internationales dont le prochain match mondial.

The Executive Board of the FMJD has decided that the FMJD wild card for the world Championship 2009 will be given to the Netherlands.
After it became clear in November 2008 that Russia could not organize the World Title match international draughts between their two players world Champion Alexander Schwarzman and challenger Alexander Georgiev the FMJD was very happy with the candidature of the Netherlands to organize this match.
After the cancellation of the World Title match Georgiev-Tchizjov in 2006 it would be very bad for the draughts world if again it would be impossible to organize the match for the title.
The Netherlands has shown again their great commitment to international draughts by organizing the match between Schwarzmann and Georgiev. We thank everybody involved very much.
As a reward for organizing this title match the FMJD wild card has been given to the Netherlands who will use it to qualify a player from the national championship 2009.
