The first round of the Curacao Open Draughts tournament 2007 was played on monday october 8 on the 1st floor of the San Marco Hotel & Casino in the centre of Willemstad. The results of this first round were:

5. Kolman Turiy (USA) - Nelsen Angela (Cur) 2-0
6. Jean Louis Raymond (Canada) - Ludwig Leitoe (Cur) 2-0
7. Henry Kenepa(Aru) - Jocelin Compere (Haiti) 2-0
8. Delbert Alexander (Aru)-Louis landaeta(Cur) 2-0
9. Raymond Sonor(Gua) - Sharief Rodjan (Suriname) 1-1
